Education
Admissions James Barlow is a partner in Posz Law Group. A former patent Examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Barlow worked for five years for a patent firm in Cleveland, Ohio before traveling to Gifu, Japan to spend seven years as in-house counsel with Onda Techno International Patent Attorneys and another year working for IPICS Corporation in Nagoya, Japan. As in-house counsel, he met with inventors and engineers, prepared, filed and prosecuted new patent applications (including PCT). Mr. Barlow’s expertise is in the areas of automotive compressors, engine controls and semiconductor devices.
