Therese B. Varndell, a partner with Posz Law Group, is experienced in the practice of patent law, trademarks, and copyrights. In patent law she has researched IP legal issues in preparing expert opinions, client communications, lectures and publications. Her trademark and copyright practice has included representing clients on new applications, prosecution, legal opinions, appeals, oppositions, cancellations and settlement negotiations. She has also provided consultations on trademark issues such as Madrid Protocol, tradedress, and collective marks.

Prior to entering the private industry, Ms. Varndell worked as an analyst with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to joining Posz Law Group, she co-founded and was managing partner with Varndell & Varndell, PLLC for 19 years, a private law firm specializing in the practice of intellectual property law.

Ms. Varndell has handled cases involved with biotechnology, chemical, pharmaceutical and mechanical technologies.
